Hey Chick is my new favorite stamp set featured in the upcoming Sale A Bration catalog. I was so excited to use my new Stampin’ Up! Watercolor pencils to color my birds. This awesome set of 13 pencils will be available for purchase from the Occasions catalog beginning January 4th.
Thanks for stopping by! I hope to resume blogging more frequently. Thanks for sticking with me.
I have a bit of retired Cherry on Top DSP! I used a few scraps for this chick’s background.
The background is from my favorite designer series paper, Pop of Pink, from the Stampin’ Up Annual catalog.
January 4, 2017 marks the launch of the new Occasions catalog as well as the start of Sale A Bration! For every $50 spent on Stampin’ Up! product, you will receive one free item from the new Sale A Bration catalog.
I indulged my Holiday spirit and created some last minute tags and cards using current product and a few favorite retired products.
I love the retired Home for Christmas designer series paper and Lots of Labels. I’m happy I hoarded the paper, especially the Santa pattern.
Peaceful Pines, Softly Falling and Warmth & Cheer DSP were used to create this clean and simple “white” card. The sentiment is from the retired Versatile Christmas stamp set. Another product I hoarded from last year’s catalog was the Cherry Cobbler Sheer Linen ribbon. I wrapped it around the layer of white embossed with the Softly Falling TIEF.
Thank you for stopping by my blog. I hope you have been able to indulge your holiday crafting spirit.
It is always difficult to create sympathy cards, more so this time of year. Two of my friends both lost someone they loved. Using a “lavender” palette, I have created two cards of condolence.
The first is for Diana who lost her daughter Deanna to Cystic Fibrosis on Saturday. Sadly, Cystic Fibrosis took her daughter’s twin in April. It will be an especially sad Christmas for my friend.
Made using: Watercolor Wings, Butterflies Thinlets, Perfect Plum and Wisteria Wonder
The second condolence card is for my friend who lost her father. This card was inspired by Suzie McFloozy.
Made using: Sheltering Tree, Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Wisteria Wonder, Perfect Plum
Thank you for stopping by my blog. I hope to post my last minute Christmas cards and tags soon!
A member of our Stampin’ Pretty Pals group lost her son John this past week. As you would expect, she is devastated. To show her love, and lift her spirits, our group has rallied sending Frances (Frenchie) hand crafted cards full of prayer and hope.
It’s easy to become wrapped in my own problems and drama. John’s passing helped me put the problems of my life back into perspective.
God Bless the Saldana Family.
