Hello Stampers! Bear with me as I create Christmas cards while thinking outside of the box. For this clean and simple card, I combined Warmth & Cheer DSP with the ornate leaves from Paisley & Posies Bundle neatly tucked under a sentiment cropped from Christmas Greetings Thinlets.
I could get totally carried away with those Paisley shapes. I may try this layout on a Very Vanilla base!
Thanks for visiting my happy place! Hugs, M
UPDATE! YAY! My card was selected by the Pals Paper Arts Design Team!
Hello Stampers! I am so sorry Design Team for my very last minute Pals Paper Arts submission. I couldn’t resist creating with this terrific color palette.
The fabulous Paisleys & Posies Bundle provided the inspiration for this challenge. I used a bit of retired Farmer’s Market DSP as a contrasting background. I added an Elegant Eggplant enamel dot just because I love Enamel Dots.
Thanks for stopping by my blog! Hugs M
We moved our coastal home (RV) back to storage until March. It’s always a sad time for me as I love the everything coast. To pull myself out of this slump, I spent several hours in my paper therapy room creating.
I used Warmth & Cheer scraps from my recent Pals Paper Arts card and random strips of the coordinating card stock: Garden Green and Cherry Cobbler. The heat embossed sentiment is from the Hostess set Holly Jolly Layers. I popped it up on a Basic Black scalloped circle from Layering Circles. The sentiment sits on the edge of a double layered banner created using one of my all time favorite punches: Triple Banner Punch . The Cherry Cobbler layer was embossed using the Elegant Dots Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.

DESIGNER SERIES PAPER SALE!
It’s time to play the PPA! (Pals Paper Arts). Dawn Tidd created this terrific clean layout (my favorite kind!). I created mine yesterday while celebrating World Card Making Day with one of my favorite stampers, Terry. I can count on her to provide inspiration, exciting conversation and homemade cookies.
The striped/zig zag pattern from Warmth and Cheer Designer Series Paper Stack compliments the lines of the sketch. I wrapped a Cherry Cobbler ribbon from the Silky Taffeta Ribbon combo pack around an accenting background layer of Garden Green. The Christmas Greetings Thinlets sentiment sits on top of a simple Perfect Pines tree. Sitting atop the tree is a little Metallic Enamel Shapes star in Gold.
Don’t forget to take advantage of Stampin’ Up’s! designer series paper sale.
